Terus dengan pernyataan tidak sensitif seperti itu, datang dari institusi negara pula, selain mencekal suara perempuan, malah melanggengkan pemikiran bahwa tubuh perempuan adalah objek semata. Utamanya objek seksual. Dianggap sebagai objek pornografi. Mestinya dilihat konteksnya juga, tidak bisa hanya gambar saja.” lanjut Ellen.

Ellen juga mengatakan kalau Pasal 27 Ayat 1 UU ITE memiliki bias gender. “ Sebelumnya, Pasal karet 27 Ayat 1 UU ITE dipakai juga untuk menekan Youtuber Kimi Hime karena kontennya dianggap vulgar, sampai Kimi Hime harus menghapus kontennya. Selalu tubuh perempuan yang diatur-atur atau perempuan yang terkena dampak negatif lebih besar bila terkait dengan isu kesusilaan atau pornografi,” ujar Ellen.
